Amadou Fall Bâ is a young Senegalese cultural operator and lynchpin of the cultural association Africulturban (first on urban cultures in Africa) which he co-founded with friends in February 2006 in Dakar. Africulturban works to promote the development and dissemination of urban culture through artistic expressions managers (festivals, training, exchanges, forum).
Today it has more than 1250 members. Amadou is also the Director of Festa2h (International Festival of Hip Hop and urban culture) with its 11th edition this past May 2016. After completing advanced training in cultural management in Germany, Amadou became CEO of King Booking Management (Fair Label Music in Senegal) and director of Hip Hop Akademy (training center and documentation Hip Hop and urban culture).
Amadou is currently a Student in Master 2 in Arts and Cultures at ISAC (Higher Institute of Arts and Culture) where he is studying Arts Administration. He is very involved in the interaction between culture and society. This drove him to develop the program Yuma (Urban Youth Media Academy) which is a project of social rehabilitation of young ex-child detainees in Dakar by training in audio-visual, videography, visual art, and language in written expression and oral technical leadership in IT entrepreneurship and also in computer music.
Since March 2014 Amadou has been the project manager of the Mayor of Dakar for urban cultures and at the same time director of the Maison Des Cultures Urbaines (MCU) home of urban cultures of Dakar.
